Our stay at Villa Cantik was one of the most beautiful and soul-nourishing experiences we’ve ever had. From the start, the booking process was effortless. I had what felt like a hundred questions, and Sascha and Angelique were so calm, patient, and helpful, it made everything feel easy and exciting. We arrived in Bali at 2am and were warmly greeted by the villa’s transfer team. From the moment we stepped into the villa, it felt like paradise. Waking up that first morning was surreal, the gardens are lush, the beachfront pool is pure magic, and every corner of the villa is beautifully styled and serene.Travelling with a group of eight, the five spacious bedrooms gave us all the privacy we needed, with plenty of space to come together. The staff, led by Cadek, were absolutely phenomenal, cooking amazing meals, arranging in-villa massages, and organising our activities with such care and kindness.We celebrated two birthdays while there, and the team went above and beyond with decorations, cakes, and even singing with us. It truly made the trip unforgettable.Villa Cantik gave us the space to reconnect, slow down, and create memories that will stay with us forever. Perfect for families or groups, this place is a true gem. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful Villa Cantik. The whole place was gorgeous. The rooms were perfect with great AC and comfortable beds and really nice en-suite bathrooms. The pool was wonderful! A great place to relax and refresh. But the staff are the best part! Kadek and Novi are amazing cooks who took fantastic care of us. And Edi keeps the grounds pristine!! The drivers on staff (Putu and Dodi) were excellent and timely full of local adobe and guidance. All in all my family throughly enjoyed our stay.

One of the most beautiful views from the villa with the best pool we’ve ever been in. Kadak and team were amazing and the food was restaurant quality. Angelique organised our driver Kresna & Jaya to fetch us from the airport. Although our flights were delayed and some bags lost, Kresna waited patiently and had a smile on his face for the trip to Villa Cantik. He also took us on a tour to see a Temple, the twin lake view and Luwak Coffee. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you all again.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon and it was perfect from start to finish. Angelique helped us arrange what we needed in advance, including a driver to pick us up all the way across the island and then to drive us to a different location at the end of our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, cooking tasty meals tailored to our preferences and even arranging for us to have massages right at the villa. And the property is beautiful— watching the sunrise and sunset from the bungalow at the back of the property was truly magical. Overall, it was a fantastic stay that we’d highly, highly recommend!

Villa Cantik is something out of a storybook. From the second we got off the plane and met our driver, Dodi, to being warmly greeting by Kadek and Novi, we felt immediately at home. The property is picturesque and a perfect escape. The proximity to a vast array of day trips is perfect and the friendly staff always makes sure that you’re comfortable and taken care of. North Bali is a truly authentic experience away from the tourist traps of Ubud and other big cities. Surrounded by black sand beaches, rice fields, and the friendliest of locals, it gave us a glimpse into the everyday life of Balinese culture. We’re already trying to plan our return!

Our stay at Villa Cantik exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived at the airport, we felt completely looked after. We were able to arrange transportation from the airport to the Villa in advance and that made everything easy – even with a tiny hiccup, the property manager resolved it within minutes. They were so apologetic, but honestly, it was about a 5 minute delay, which allowed to change quickly before the drive. We arrived at the villa around 8:30PM and staff was there to greet us, look after our bags, give a quick tour, then served one of the best meals we’ve ever had. You’ll see other reviews that comment on how cook the cooking is in the villa…they are all true! My wife and I were there for our anniversary and ready to relax, which we did. We spent hours by the pool and on the beach, but also enjoyed tours arranged by the staff and supported by the villa driver. We did not plan anything in advance, the staff was able to help us with our trips arranged the day before. On that, highly recommend the snorkeling, dolphin tour (which is worth it for the sunrise alone), and Aling-Aling waterfalls. We traveled to Ubud from Villa Cantik, again, transportation was arranged and seamless. The driver was kind enough to make stops along the way at sites of interest. The house and grounds are meticulously kept in a very quiet area. The evenings are especially quiet. We can’t thank the staff enough for making this stay so memorable. This is a must stay!

We chose this villa to host a small wedding ceremony and reception and it was the absolute perfect space. The staff really go above and beyond they were so sweet and really made the wedding so much better, they even brought us flowers on our special day! Our family (5 people) had an incredible stay at Villa Cantik during our 13 nights. The villa is as described and the pool is amazing. The rooms are all spacious and have air conditioning. One point to note about the room which is directly on the beach: the sound of the waves can be quite loud if you’re a light sleeper. Many thanks to Kadek and Novi for their availability, advice and kindness. The food at the villa is delicious (and much better than at the restaurant). Thanks also to Eddie for his help and for the coconuts! The system is quite simple: each evening you decide with Kadek the next day’s menu, and she also estimates how much it should cost. The next day, Kadek gives you the bill and you either pay extra or she gives you money back. The meals are all very affordable. We had three drivers during our stay. They were all very professional and accommodating. They will take you on excursions or to the local supermarket/money changer office. The fare varies according to time/distance. We will definitely come back to stay again at the Villa Cantik !!!

“Just Amazing!”

Just like the pictures say this place was perfect.The staff were fabulous. They can cook anything you want for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just get them to buy the ingredients.We didn’t need to do anything except relax and enjoy. Short boat ride from the house out to the dolphins at sunrise. Fabulous push bike ride down the mountain, through rice fields and right back to the doorstep. Snorkeling was magic out at an island. All this organised by the staff at the house if you wish. We even hired a scooter/motor bike for the week and very affordable. We rode to lots of nearby places like the flower markets and the hot springs. Other days we just lazed around the pool. Oh and nearly forgot the great massage free with your stay. Have to admit we went back for more as it was right next door.

Villa Cantik is a great, spacious yet charming villa with a beatiful garden. While other villas might be even more modern and luxurious this villa for us made us feel living the north-Bali life. The staff is amazingly helpful and nice. The secluded location makes it s really tranquil experience but consider renting a motorbike to have some flexibility in shopping for some groceries in addition to what the staff does for preparing the meals. Angelique has been extremely supportive with extensive additional information and took care of the logistics to get to/from the villa (for a erg acceptable fee paid to the driver). We stayed for a week in this beautiful villa. Nice sea view (watch the sunset with a drink at the ” boat” bar next to the villa). Go watch dolphins (and let a traditional boat pick you up at the beach in front of your own house), climb the mount Batur (and get the most stunning sunset ever!). Let the staff cook the most delicious meals. They will pamper you, you feel at home right away. Take a dive in your own swimming pool and enjoy a fresh coconut in the shade. What a wonder
ful week we – our family with two young children – spent in the beautiful villa Cantik, fully-equipped! Very child-friendly too, with two cots and high chairs and a maxi cosy available. The garden and the view were really to dream away. Also Desa and Ketut were very welcoming and helpful. And they loved the children! They even took care of the children when we did the dolphin trip at sea. We were very spoiled with each day the most delicious Balinese dishes of Desa and Ketut. What a vacation! Actually we still think about it every day now we are back. This country has made a great impression on our family (kids 17-15-12), of coruse because of the nature, but also by the friendliness of the people. We stayed 8 days for four (parents with two children of 17 and 20) in villa Cantik. The pictures of the website fade to reality, a dream stay and what a space. The many seating areas in the beautiful garden with its delightful swimming pool; the beautiful, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms; the game attic, where many a game of table tennis is played; the delicious meals that were made for us by the friendly, always smiling Dessa and Ketut and not to mention the welcome massage, it was super. What we experienced when we came to Villa Cantik was pure magic. We loved everything about it, from the absolutely magnificent staff Desak and Julia, to the house itself, that had everything we could absolutely ask for, to the wonderful garden/pool area where we spent most of our 12 days of holidays. The garden was well kept by Eddie, and the closest neighbour was an old wooden boat, made into a massage place, where we all enjoyed good massages. It was an absolute paradise, and we could not stop smiling at all the beauty and kindness we encountered. For a family of four with relatively small children (6 & 9), everything was very easy yet so different. We had to go for the three hour drive to cross the Island to get to Lovina, but it was well worth it, and no complaints from our children. The driver Putu found us at the airport, and was one of many very friendly drivers that worked for the villa. From then on we enjoyed the house and pool area, the beach with its luke warm and very calm waters (not always super clean, but still lovely for small children) and the surroundings of Lovina. One of the best experiences – and the cheapest – were the hot springs very close by, where locals and tourists alike enjoyed the warm healing waters. All in all we have nothing but praise when it comes to our trip to Villa Cantik, and we hope to come back and visit soon again. All the best,

We arrived late night at villa Cantik. After a long day of travel. Immediately we noticed the wonderful garden and the table already set for 3. A warm welcome even though it was 11.30 p.m.
The next morning, we woke up to what for us was called paradise. A wonderful infinity pool with a lovely ocean view. And 3 different area’s to relax.
However, what really made our stay the vacation “to beat” was the staff! They were so friendly, kind and always ready to help out. And did I mention Julia and Dessa are great cooks?!
And when we felt like going out for the night Dessa had some good tips for restaurants in the vicinity of lovina!

Food was perfect cooked and house cleaned all the time. We also had a great time in the swimming pool and garden. We really appreciate the complimentary 1-hour body massage we all received, it was very relaxing and restful. Also I would like to mention Eddy’s work. He is such a good gardener. Swimming pool, terrace and wole area were cleaned perfectly every time. You can be proud of your staff. Thank you for this awesome holiday!

We loved almost everything here in Villa Cantik. If we think about the new renovated, clean and functional house, the gazebo in a wonderful garden with a lot of shadow, the cool pool and the quiet beach during the day and the more busy beach during the sunset with all the local people, we smile!
We were happy with the great staff. Eddy, always kind and smiling and busy in the garden, Ketut from the helpdesk was always helpful in any kind when we had questions and of course Desa and Julia who made our stay perfect! They were always ready when we needed something like towels, coffee, juice, change money or go shopping. We joked a lot and laugh together. We got the best Balinese food cooked by them, don’t miss Desa’s pisang goreng or their Ayam Ketcap or Satay. We will always remember!
We have been in Bali many times, have seen and stayed in several villas and we can say: Villa Cantik with it’s staff is ONE OF THE BEST!

We enjoyed four wonderful days in your marvellous villa. Everything is fantastic, the location, the pool, the garden and last but not least the staff!
Dessa and Julia were providing excellent service and were very attentive and open to individual requests. They prepared various dishes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) appealingly and tastefully. We enjoyed a wide range of Balinese specialities every day! Moreover, they offered a morning coffee at the pool or a fruit juice in the afternoon without any request – a delightful experience. We really miss them!
We can recommend to see the spa facility at the beach and make use of the complimentary welcome massage and additional treatments. The relaxing 60 minute massage was great and more than we expected. Great location, highly relaxing and professional staff!
We asked one of the fishermen to take us to the coral reef in front of Lovina beach for snorkelling. The boat trip took only 30 minutes, the reef was amazing and we spotted colourful fish and many deep-blue starfish. We can recommend this tour.
Villa Cantik was the third accommodation of our tour through Bali and we were all of the opinion that this was the best by far! Also Angelique was always available for us and we felt extra ordinary supported and informed, thank you!
