Welcoming staff

Our aim is to provide guests with an unforgettable holiday experience by combining the luxury and comfort of the best hotels with the freedom and privacy of a private villa.

It is our pleasure to introduce the staff of Villa Cantik. The staff of Villa Cantik is at your service 6 days per week; they make sure that you have a comfortable stay. The 2 ladies of the household take care of the entire household: maintaining the villa, taking care of the laundry & ironing and prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Villa Cantik also has 2 gardeners. They take care of the beautiful garden, the terrace and the infinity swimming pool. And there is also a security guard on duty from 6pm to 6am every day.

Driver

If you wish, we can arrange your transfer from the airport in Denpasar to the villa. The driver will be waiting for you at arrivals holding a sign with your name on it. He will take you to the villa. The journey (depending on traffic) will take about 2.5 hours. On your way to the villa you can already start enjoying the beauty of Bali such as the sawas (flooded rice-fields), volcanic mountains, lakes and small villages. And if you are lucky, you might even spot monkeys along the road! The price for this transfer service is approximately 700.000 Rp (± € 55), to be settled with the driver. You can also arrange the date and time you would like to be picked-up for your return journey.

You can always call one of the drivers for a day trip or to go out for dinner or shopping. In the villa we have provided an information guide with phone numbers of drivers available for you. Please agree separately with the driver on the price for this service.

Helpdesk

There is a local helpdesk available for the villa, 7 days a week, to offer any assistance. For all questions during your stay about the villa, the staff, day trips or transportation, you can contact our helpdesk. Your contact person will also welcome you personally in the villa and he or she will visit you at least once a week during your stay.

Information Guide

In the villa you will find an information guide. This provides you with all important phone numbers (such as helpdesk, doctor, drivers), practical information about the villa, suggestions for lunch / dinner, information about the surroundings and activities, addresses of good restaurants, shops etc.

Transport during your stay

If you want to use transport during your stay, for example to go on a sightseeing tour or to go out and have dinner, you can use the services of one of the drivers we work with. They all speak English and are also very good guides, they know the most beautiful places of Bali!

The transport for the return or continued journey you also can arrange during your stay via the help desk or one of the drivers. In the villa you find an information guide with all the phone numbers.

Preparing of the meals

Each day you can tell the staff what you would like to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can use the list with menu suggestions in the villa, however you can ask the cook to prepare anything you like. They are all very good cooks and can prepare delicious Asian and also Western dishes.

Preparing of the meals is included in the rental rate, only the groceries are at your own expenses. Prices for food are still low in Bali, to give you an indication: for approx. 200,000 IDR you will have a complete dinner for 4 people.

Groceries

The staff likes to take care of your groceries. They will go to the morning market to buy fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. You can give them the required money and they will provide you with the receipts and the change afterwards. The staff will only ask small fee (20,000 IDR) covering the transportation costs.

Help desk

During your stay you can always contact the help desk of the villa. Their phone number is listed in the information guide in the villa. You can contact them every day for all questions you might have regarding the villa, the staff and the surroundings.

Tourist tax

On Bali it is required to register guests at the tourist police. One day after arrival a staff member or your contact person from the help desk will come to your villa to collect two copies of each passport and a fee of 30.000 IDR per person. They will take care of the registration at the tourist police. We recommend that you bring 2 copies of each passport along on your trip to Bali for this purpose.

Special requests

If you have special requests (e.g. special diets, a baby cot, a high chair, a car seat etc.) please let us know before arrival so we can inform the help desk, the staff and the driver accordingly.

This guide contains all important phone numbers (such as the number of the help desk, the doctor, the drivers), practical information about the villa, menu suggestions, suggestions for sightseeing tours, addresses of recommended restaurants, shops etc.
